Get Your SSL Certificate Issued

After placing an order, configure the certificate and complete Domain Control Validation (DCV).

Steps

1. Log in to the 12SSL Client Area.
2. Open Your Active Products/Services.
3. Open the SSL product details.
4. Enter the domain name or IP address.
5. Choose a DCV method.
6. Submit and confirm.
7. Complete validation as instructed.

HTTP File Validation

If you choose HTTP validation, upload the validation file to:

http://example.com/.well-known/pki-validation/validation-file.txt

Make sure the file is publicly reachable.

Issuance

After validation passes, the CA usually issues the certificate within minutes. Refresh the product page to download it.
